I can't explain to you how hurtful it is to have someone make a false claim against me, especially one like this because it goes against everything for which I stand. I have nothing but the utmost respect for people who have worked for me and for whom I've worked. It is hard to believe that we live in a world where the media's hunger for drama rather than facts driven news stories. For whatever it's worth, a lawsuit has not been filed and the disgruntled employee herself even felt the need after the story appeared online to post a comment that the claim is untrue. She blamed her lawyer for taking such irresponsible action. As you know, I write songs about love and relationships. About respect for your loved ones and people in general.
